Covenant Community Care was experiencing continued growth in providing much needed medical care to low income residents of Southeast Michigan.  Meeting the medical requirements has always been a challenge, but also meeting technology requirements and compliance mandates was becoming overly burdensome.  With a limited staff and budget concerns the executive leadership of Covenant Community Care contacted BPI for help.

Approach

BPI started with being a good listener, and then asked questions to get a thorough understanding of Covenant Community Care.  BPI uncovered not only the technology challenges but also the business goals.  A team of BPI technology specialists visited each clinic to meet the management staff and find out how they worked with patients and how they were using the information systems.  All this information was documented in a central management system and share with Covenant management.

Results

Now with BPI providing a managed support service, a structured support process is in place and knowledgeable staff handle everything from simple technology questions to long range planning and compliance reporting. Today Covenant continues to grow, helping more patients and opening new clinics.  Covenant has the peace of mind that everything is taken care of and can now focus on patient care.
